A volunteer-led food pantry in Frankfort, Ohio, run with local churches and donors.
The Frankfort Community Food Pantry opened in Ohio this year, a volunteer-led response to growing food insecurity in the region. It builds on ACT Chillicothe’s earlier monthly food donations to the Good Samaritan pantry — the same volunteers, now running a service of their own.
Its first service day reached 38 families, the start of a sustainable monthly effort. The programme is now preparing to fundraise, apply for grants and expand capacity.
