School meals in Stanger

Weekly meals for children at rural schools around Stanger, and for elders in the same communities.

Food & NutritionPart of ACT4Hunger1 location

The ACT Stanger team serves children at rural schools in Stanger and the surrounding areas of KwaZulu-Natal, together with elders in the same communities. The work is built around a weekly meal rather than an occasional one, and 400 meals were served across the year reported.

The rest of ACT’s South African feeding work runs from the same district — the Mohanji Centre of Benevolence at Nonoti is close by — so a school served here is served by a team already in the area every week.
