ACT Thailand funded a college scholarship for Wichitra Dasor, a Hilltribe woman from Chiang Mai, covering the tuition and room rental for the first and second terms of her first year. ACT Sri Lanka supported five university students through 2025 and has said it intends to broaden the scholarships.
In London, the Student Lunch Programme launched in December with Mohanji Foundation UK and INSA, after a visit to King's College London. Recent studies put around half of students skipping at least one meal a day; the programme runs twice a week, and offers not only food but a sense of care, dignity and community.
Alongside these, teams supply school hampers, back-to-school essentials and school bags — 156 school hampers in the UK in 2025, and 120 school bags in South Africa.
