The Institute of Neonatology in Belgrade is the only specialised institution in Serbia caring for premature babies and newborns with serious conditions. ACT has already completed two donation phases there — computer equipment, a pulse oximeter and a patient monitor, €5,200 in all, raised from community donations, social media appeals and charity events.

The next thing the unit needs is a cardiac ultrasound machine, for the continuous monitoring of premature babies. ACT has named the figure: €100,000.
