Launched May 2024. About 350 meals a week at two primary schools, and a dining shelter that replaced eating outdoors.
Programme launch: May 2024.
Location: Supar Primary School and Siddha Rastriya Primary School, Kallika Municipality, Chitwan.
Approximately 350 freshly prepared meals a week, served twice weekly to children at two primary schools.
A dedicated dining shelter was built at Supar Primary School, replacing unsafe outdoor eating conditions during harsh weather. Having somewhere proper to eat also tightened the school day: daily routines became better structured and better coordinated once the meal space existed. A proposal to build the same shelter at Siddha Rastriya Primary School is under review.
9,306 meals served
